Has the guy you spoke to got any photos he took that are good enough to use? Or should we start looking elsewhere for more photos?

The guy I spoke to had just a few photos of the fire. They didn't have time for him to snap a lot of shots as he really is with the fire department. The lady that took the shot we're wanting to use has many pics of this fire before the fire department arrived. But, the view we have is still the best.

I received an email from the original photographer. Her name is Kimberly Young. She had this to say in the email:

She has granted permission, and I love what Fundy has done with this. As of right now, this is THE official cover for the new CD! I may see if we can use one of her other shots for the back cover just to keep the cover looking great. We can even leave the power lines on those.

That's great news! It's always good to go through the proper channels to make sure it's okay to use peoples photos. If nothing else it shows Christians as people who are honest and sincere.

Yes, I think we did the right thing by obtaining permission. It would kind of undermine what being a Christian is if we were singing about Jesus and stealing art.

WOW, what a wonderful news to read.
"Hostile To The Gospel"has a cover.
One step closer to finishing the CD.

To ask permission to use the photo is good to do as Christian.
This is how it has to work.

The cover is done. There is no more news with that.

Right now, I am waiting to mix. I may have yet found a singer even though I had them finished. If I do, I will get the vocals redone and get the CD mixed then.
