In advance of the new album, Joshua is re-issuing three
of his classic albums which have not been in print for 6 years. Newly
remastered CDs of "The Hand is Quicker Than the Eye," "Surrender" (with
new cover art)," and "Chapter One" (with new cover art) will be
available March 20, 2008 through his website, CDBaby and many other
hard rock mailorders worldwide. Sound samples are currently posted on
Joshua's MySpace profile at:

Finally, keep an eye out for his much anticipated DVD
release "Intense Defense: Live in the Studio" which features Rob Rock
on vocals. The DVD will also include live footage from various
appearances with guests Paul Shortino (Rough Cutt), Neal Grusky
(Takara), and Jeff Fenholt.

It's too bad he doesn't have the rights to reissue "Intense Defense" on cd.
I am anxious to get a copy of "The Hand Is Quicker Than The Eye" though!

But I will be happy to finally score reasonably priced copies of "The Hand is Quicker..." and "Chapter One".

May have to pick these up when they are re-issued. I think along time ago I had "Surrender" but got rid of it. In the words of the prophet Napolean Dynamite "Idiot"

I thought that there comes an "Intense Defense" reissue.
But I am not sure if this is right.
I am sure alldatndensum knows more about this.
Is it me to think that the Joshua albums are a bit underrated?

Yes, there will be a brand new album later in the year with Jeff Fenholt on vocals.

Intense
Defense is a pending issue. We are trying to retain the rights from the
label to re-release it, but it could be quite a while. Our main focus
right now is getting in the studio to record the new album, releasing a
new DVD and re-issuing the other titles first.

Good news, very glad to hear they are putting out a new album with Jeff Fenholt. He sang on my favorite Joshua album "Surrender".

Still can't believe ChosenOne got rid of his copy, where you going through an "alternative only" phase in the mid-90's and scraped all your hard rock records?

Not really heard too much about him. I show I have 2 albums but haven't really listened much. I seem to recall the lyrics were centered around human relationships mostly rather than Jesus.

If someone ever buys my copy, I'll just say I had way too much stuff that I never listened to. I never knew Surrender was that hard to find. May have to Ebay it with the other rare things.

I think Surrender has been reissued several times. I bought a brand new copy that was a reissue 3 or 4 years ago.
