New HB!

Just got the new HB album, "Frozen Inside", for review from the bands label. What we have in HB is female fronted symphonic metal from Finland. "Frozen" Inside" was recorded in follow up to the bands 2006 debut "Enne". Bold and forthrigtht lyrics (this time in English).

Look for "Frozen Inside" to be released on April 23, 2008.

I'm gonna have to wait and hear some of this before I get excited. So many of the more modern metal bands with progressive or symphonic leanings, I just get bored with so easily. I want to hear more than one or two songs on their MySpace before I buy this.

Not much in the Christian symphonic metal realm. These are the closest I know that have some symphonic elements:
Aava
Drachen (nice Manowar cover)
Fountain of Tears
Lordian Guard (disbanded)
Random Eyes (debut only)
Seven Angels (more power)
Venia (more power/thrash)
Voice of Glass
Whisper From Heaven (cookie monster also)

Very nicely done! I will be getting this when there is a cheaper American version. I still think the band needs to change their name. Two letters does not a band name make...lol

Not in the Christian scene. There are literally hundreds of these bands in the secular scene though. It's really oversaturated right now and you have to weed through dozens to find the true gems.
