| Mine and alldat's seester will be going on Thursday to have one of her toes removed. She has had a wound on one of her toes that wouldn't heal, due to her diabetes. As it turns out, her infection is now in the bone and the toe has got to go. Yall pray for her that her toe is ALL that has to be removed.
Her Doctor told her that she needs to be prepared to lose the entire foot, if he feels the need while cutting. Hopefully, it will only be her toe, not her whole foot. |

That's what I hope too it's only her toe not here whole foot.

| Ms. Alldat here once again. Miranda aka Seester came through surgery ok. All that was taken was the toe. The doctor said that he took a culture of some of the surrounding areas just to be safe but by the looks of it everything will be ok. The surgery took about an hour. Three hours after she was taken back for surgery, she had left the hospital. The concern now comes with how the wound will heal. If is heals the way it should, then the doctor thinks everything will be fine. However, with her being diabetic you never know how a wound will heal Praying now for a speedy recovery. | Wow, can't believe I missed this post first time around.
Praying that her surgery will heal properly and that no other surgerys will be required.

| I have a friend who wouldn't keep his diabetes under control until he lost a toe.
Glad everything went well and pray for a quick recovery.
