| I ran an ad on Craigslist to help find some musicians to finish my new CD. I met a guitarist named Mark Breton at the same time that Gypsy Carnes contacted me. Well, Gypsy has been very busy, but Mark & I finally worked out a convenient time. He came out from Gallatin, TN Saturday afternoon, and we worked for a couple of hours. Mark's a very good player, and quite creative. On the song "Give In To Him", he laid some very tasty 80's hard rock licks. Plenty of finger tapping on this track! I was impressed! Then, we went on to the funky "The End". Mark really got WAY out there as far as playing is concerned. His licks are dark, and almost obscene sounding. I really don't know how to describe this sound except that it's kind of swampy sounding: muddy, but it flows well. To just listen to the drums and lead track, it's horrible. But, when you bring all the pieces together, this solo fits this song style perfectly. What is funny, though, is that the song sounds like it ought to be something you'd hear in some seedy nightclub, but the lyrics are about beign excited about going home to be with the Lord. I wish that Mark Breton and I had met sooner and got him on some other tracks. But, I'm not redoing solos that I worked hard to get. He made playing look so effortless! Thanks, Mark! Hope we can hook up again! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| Wow, another Mark!? You just can't seem to get away from Mark's can you? | Quote: | | I really don't know how to describe this sound except that it's kind of swampy sounding: muddy, but it flows well. |
That sounds very promising. You've got me really excited to hear this now. Very glad to see you found some lead guitar help. -- _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

I'm looking forward to hearing the final product, myself. The project, after a year, is finally pulling together. And, with Mark Breton coming and doing those two songs, all the lead guitar is done! I have two things to fix on vocals, and two more drum tracks to get, and the mixdown can begin._________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| Good you have found an other Mark to help you out to finish the guitar leads who had to be done.
Sometimes you can't describe how it sounds. The only option is to listen how it sounds. I'm curious to listen how it sounds.
Do you have a drummer now to do the last two drum tracks? You are so close now to start with the mixdown.
I hope Mark is able to do more guitar work for you.
Have you tried how the new drum kit sounds? We still love to see a pic |

| Sounds like we may see a summer relase from Mission of One. Get Sabidoo off the road and back in the studio to finish of those drums. He can work anytime, this is important! -- _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

The two songs that Sabidoo did on Monday were on the new Roland kit. Of course, after a 2 hour recording session with him beating the crap out of them, they no longer look new! But, you can either keep them pretty, or play them. I bought them to have them played.

I have the names of a couple of guys who are interested in helping. I hope to call and schedule something very soon.

I'd also like to see Mark Breton return to work with me in the future. He was a super nice guy with a heart for the Lord and for music ministry._________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| Great news that sabidoo worked in the Batcave Monday. Now the last two drum tracks are done does it mean that you only have to fix two things on the vocals before the CD is ready to be mixed? It sound that the end of this project is near. Sabidoo how does the new Roland drum kit plays? Has the new drum kit a "walking bass drum" too? |

That's the main reason I don't like to play other peoples guitars. I can be a rough player, and I don't like scratching up other peoples instruments. Also some people can be very picky with their instruments. I look at it this way, you either bought it to play it or put it in a display case. If it is some vintage heirloom, put it in a display case, don't play it (and certainly don't hand it to me).

No. There are still two. I had already counted the songs that Sabidoo did in my earlier post. So, I will fix the vocal thingies this week and try to get another drummer A.S.A.P. In the mean time, I'll try to mix down what I have completed and maybe get a couple of songs up on MySpace._________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

I agree. I didn't buy my basses or guitars to fund my retirement years. I hope to play them well into my retirement years, but they must be played. I'd let you play my guitars, Gary. | OK, I'll work on it. The leads, while being dirty, sound out of place by themselves. But, when you mix in the funky bass and the retro sounding, wah-wah infused rhythm guitars, it makes for a combo that is sure to get you headbangin' psychadelic! Is that better? I'll try to get a pic of Mark up this week. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |
