PostSubject: What a day.   Sun Apr 20, 2008 4:50 pm

So, I'm sitting here at the company terminal in Charlotte, NC.

M1's latest "NOT YET RELEASED" CD cranked up. Bly sky, bright sun. Truck is shaking from the bass vibrations.
Other drivers are tapping along with it.

Yep, a good day indeed..... Wow!

I still have two songs giving me a little EQ problem. But, with any luck, I could fix that tomorrow. I've been adjusting the EQ to "excite" the vocals a bit, but then lost some of my low end. Finding that perfect balance is tough.

But, I do have 8 of the 10 songs completely self mastered. I am sending two to Topshot for his radio program. Also, FishingD has a show, and I will be sending the same two tracks to him. However, I promised Michael first shot at playing them. So, he gets them first.

1 & 2, actually. I don't think that "Are You Listening?" would really be the right fit for Topshot's show. Too light.

But the message in that song covers EVERYONE at some point in their lives.

Very true. There have been many times that all of us feel like God isn't listening. I know this all too well. I hope that this song really speaks to people, but it isn't musically what you would put on a hard rock/metal show. There are other tracks on the CD that are better suited for that.

I am SO close now. I'm not sure that everyone will agree, but I really believe that this disc sounds worlds better than my previous efforts. And, even though the songs are not as heavy as "Show Me The Way", I like the musical direction more. The songs, to me anyway, are just more fun. I also feel that they will attract a larger audience because of the varied styles that are on here.
