I got a little hyped up on caffiene today and as my mind was racing, I compsed the following little ditty as a tribute to my latte. English toffee/caramel with chocolate milk was the choice of the day.




Frothy goodness, super chocolatey taste,
My biggest concern is it going to my waist.
Yes, it was yummy to my tummy, tasty to my tongue
It went down my throat, right past my lung.
My mind is all a twitter, my thoughts are in a jumble
The milk in it has caused a bit of of a rumble.
Lactose intolerance can be quite a drag
It is a problem, not something about which to brag.
To put it scientifically, the latte was really great,
However, the digestive tract now wants to flatulate.
I feel by now that you have had a laugh that comes at my expense,
You might wonder whether drinking my latte made a lot of sense.
I thought it worth the risk, a choice I could defend.
I guess we will just have to see, how it comes out in the end.
