Just ordered the new Jeff Scheetz Band CD from CD Baby. You can hear samples at: http://cdbaby.com/cd/scheetz3

I hear bluesy rock/hard rock not unlike Glenn Kaiser Band.

I was just coming over to start a thread on this album.

I am listening to the samples at cdbaby right now. Sounds fantastic! You can also go to his site and listen to full versions of some of the songs.

I'm interested in knowing how many of the songs are instrumental (heard 1 so far). Not at all a fan of instrumental music, but the tunes with the vocals sound fantastic.

I loved the music on their "Beggars, Rogues, and Thieves" disc, but the lyrics just left me kinda flat.

I often prefer the instrumental material from artists like Scheetz. Reminds me of Satriani or Vinnie Moore, Gregg Wright, etc. That solo project from Tony Palacios is along those lines, too.

I liked his other band better, Sign of the Times. Never cared to much for his blues/instrumental things.

Sign Of The Times was pretty good. They could have used a stronger singer.

I think, with different lyrics, that I would enjoy his bluesier side more.

My thoughts too. Not a bad album, but it could have been great, with a stronger vocalist.

I get the feeling that you think Jeff's music is good. I don't know why. Laughing
