Project 86 will be releasing a Christmas EP in November (release date forthcoming in the next few days)!!!

The Ep will include "This Time of Year" and several other tracks. Don't expect anything less that Project at their best...

I'm both surprised AND intrigued. Project 86 isn't really a band I saw as the type to put out a Christmas album. I'm intrested to see how this'll turn out. Now I just have to wait till November Crying or Very sad

My complain is that is it populair for bands to released EP's?

Instead of the Project 86 Christmas CD, I might be more interested in Barlow Girl's new holiday release.

Came out this morning, actually. I might get it closer to Christmas, but I am not really interested in Christmas tunes this early.

I just listened the the Barlow Girls holiday album. Its not bad, although there wasn't much that really jumped out at me. It just sounded like the typical Christmas album. Something I did like about it though was the use of Jazz melodies and horn line. Also the vocal harmonies were really good, although that's nothing new from Barlow Girl.

I couldn't even find it on their homepage or myspace. I'm guessing there's nothing "hard" about it.

Not a big fan of Christmas music. I will probably pass on both.

Normally I wouldn't either, but Im interested to see how a Project 86 Christmas album will turn out. And as far as the Barlow Girl album, Im betting they'll probably wait until its closer to Christmas to put a song from the album on their myspace. Thats another thing I dont like about releasing a Christmas album in September

Being a pretty big P86 fan I might check the Christmas album out. I'll definitely check out their new album though.
