| I had to postpone the meeting so that I could attend a funeral. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| I have a meeting with the Smith County and Rutherford County directors of Campus Life at 10 AM today. The guy over the Rutherford Co. group is also the director for all of Middle Tennessee. If I want to CL, then I have to go through him. I have a ton of questions for him, so he'd better be on his game! Also, I'll be meeting with the Watertown city council on Thursday night to discuss using the Community Center on a weekly basis. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

Do you still go tomorrow to the city council to discuss about using the Community Centre for campus Life meetings?

| Just to answer that question in case he doesn't, yes he is still meeting with the city council tomorrow, and from what he said to me, the meeting with the Campus Life people was pretty good. He will probably give more detail but atleast you have some what of an answer. |

| Ok, now that I have held you all in suspense (especially Yvonne!), I'll give you the update. Barbara Kanappel (Smith & Wilson Co. Director) and I went to the Watertown City Council meeting Thursday night. We did a short presentation about what Campus Life is and what we hope to accomplish with this organization. I won't give you the presentation--it could take a while to type out! Anyway, the mayor seemed to be very impressed. I did not figure that we would get the building on a weekly basis for free, and I was right. The mayor wants to talk to Barbara and I again before the next meeting and see if we can work out a reduced rate for our group to rent the building each Monday night. If we can get an agreeable total worked out, he wants us to present that to the councel in Jan. and they will take an official vote then. Knowing how much that building will cost us will be a great asset as I will know what kind of budget I am going to need. Keep praying! Campus Life IS coming to Wilson County--just slower than I had hoped! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| CL in Wilson County is in progress. It mean God's plan goes on. God will guide you in every step that's needed to really start CL. It's good to keep praying for this. I hope God will touch the mayor and the other members of the City Counsil. Let us know when you have to go and meet the mayor again.
Sometimes it takes time to make plans. God knows what time you need to do this. |

| The mayor wants to meet with me here in a few minutes to discuss using the Community Center for Campus Life prior to tonight's city council meeting.
Please pray if you see this! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| I know most of you didn't see my request in time. However, God shined mercy our way! When I spoke with Mayor Jennings, he suggested that we come to an agreement before the meeting, and then we could submit that to the counsel for a vote. Normally, the Community Center is $40 per event to rent with a $25 fee for cleaning. That fee is refundable if you clean the building yourself.
So, what did we agree to? A one-time $25 non-refundable cleaning fee, and an even $100 a MONTH for the building. I'll get that rate even on months where there are 5 Monday nights--when we will be having our meetings.
So, looks like in February, we'll be starting the new Wilson Co. chapter of Campus Life right here in Watertown. I think we're gonna call the group "Campus Life H2O"! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| I didn't see the prayer request in time. It was to late for me.
It's good to read that "Campus Life H20" has a home. But still a lot of work to do before the "H20" really can start.
I'm sure God will provide in all the needs of H20.
Has Campus Life a program for the Mondays nights? Are you and your wife the only two who start Campus Life? Or Campus Life will provide in more people to run the Monday nights?
It's something I keep in prayer. |
