Great to see you back Addy, last I heard you were getting married and moving (to Tennessee?).

I gotta give you props, because of you I picked up a cassette copy of The Violet Burning's "Chosen" album. I saw it there, and said to myself "Hey this is that band that Addy was always talking about." So I snagged it and must say that I was very impressed.

Staybrite- That is VERY Awesome, the world needs more fans of Violet Burning, ironically you got the only album I dont have hehe. "Chosen" is a rarity. My fav by them is "Demonstrates Plastic & Elastic" thats a good one, The Gravity Show is sort a VB album but its more of a Pritzl solo album but to me its very VBish heh, I still love them but they havent put an album out in 3 yrs

Yup I moved to TN, Got married in 2006, next month will mark 2 1/2 years of being married. Today marks my 2 1/2 year mark of living in TN, I love it in TN I love the South. Ive been to CT I think twice in the last 2 1/2 years, last year it looked like that my grandmother wasnt going to be around much longer so i came up to see her that was last December, my folks and brother are coming for Thanksgiving they leave Friday to come here, Im excited. Im anxious to show them Middle TN. Since being married my tastes in music, movies, books have just expanded well mostly in books and movies and what not. I think ive bought maybe 5 CDs this year maybe 10 i cant remember heh

Wow, nearly 2-1/2 years of marriage, congratulations! You've got to be nearly southern by now after 2-1/2 years in TN, do you speak with a southern accent now? (lol) (hmm how do you type y'all?)

I will definately need to look into more of the Violet Burning music. Good stuff Thumbs Up

There you go getting ahead of yourself, disco boy.

No matter what, once a yankee, ALWAYS a yankee. A yankee is someone from the north. A damned yankee is one from the north who moves to the south.

Get it?

Got it?

GOOD!

Where did you hide it? You sound about as southern as Staybrite looks like one of the Village People. Ok, maybe you do have an accent.... Laughing

Now I am very curious to all those accents.
So when you have an accent, type something in your accent.

Sabidoo taught me how they call the people in the north.
How do they call people in the south?
What when a "southern" from moves to the north?
