I can give you an example of my "Yankee" accent hehe

When I say Dollar I dont say it that way I say Dolla another one is Yesterday I say Yestaday other than that Im told i sound Californian more than a Yankee

My eldest stepson sounds like he's from New York sometimes with some of his words he has NO southern accent, my youngest Stepson has a very very thick southern accent, I jokingly say that my youngest is a little bit country and my eldest is a little bit rock n roll
