| yesterday, in Anatomy lab, i got to slice into a big 'ol sheep's eyeball! yay!
how often in our lives do any of us get that opportunity??
it was so cool! seeing the muscles that move the eye, the tough casing the eyeball is held in, looking through the lens, having my lab partner hacking at the thing with the scalpel like she was trying to mix it in with a plate of grits, while i wrestled it out of her hands before the professor failed us both, then having her look at me with a look akin to what i was seeing from that dead sheep's eyeball, as if to ask, 'what? it doesnt look like an egg to you?'
i wont tell you what she did to the sheep's brain a couple of weeks ago. 
on the upside, i got 100% on my lab test on the sensory areas of the brain. JOY!! |

| Very very cool, I am seriously jealous. Although I have must brag a little and say that I have had the oppertunity to cut into "living" flesh myself during my stint as a medic in the Army. Remember; "A chance to cut, is a chance to cure."

| i didnt get to observe mine in that kind of detail. my scramble-happy lab partner had attacked it before i could do any of that. |
