| I was looking at the website for one of the local news stations in my area and came across the following story. AWESOME to say the least. Keep in mind that this kid lives in the same town as Alldat and drumdude. 10-Year-Old Buys Food For Two Watertown Families| Quote: | WATERTOWN, Tenn. - A 10-year-old girl from Wilson County has turned $20 into enough money to feed two families. Brittany Eiserman is making this Thanksgiving special for a lot of people. There's not much one can buy for $20 these days, but Brittany found a way to do so. Instead of keeping the money for herself, she decided to help others in need. Brittany Eiserman and her family delivered bags of groceries to two families in Watertown Wednesday morning. "Donna, we wanted your family to have a good Thanksgiving like ours," she said as she greeted Donna Holder Wednesday morning. "This is an answer to a prayer because we didn't know if we were going to have Thanksgiving," Holder said. "They called and told us what they were going to do so it really is a wonderful thing." The child participated in a local radio contest where she was given $20 to do something special for others. She decided to use the money to make chocolate-covered pretzels. She sold them in the community and raised $150 to buy Thanksgiving dinner for families. "I was really sad knowing that they couldn't have Thanksgiving like we always do," she said. Brittany's parents work for Wilson County Schools, which found the families in need. Brittany was one of several children who participated in Mix 92.9 (WJXA) radio contest that encouraged them to spread joy during the holidays. "I think these families will actually do something forward for somebody else," said Brittany's mother, Lisa Eiserman. "And this was the point of the whole project was to show that if a child can actually make a difference, then adults can definitely make a difference in other people's lives as well." |

| That is so awesome! People like to talk about how bad kids are these days. This, however, shows that there is still good to be found in our younger generations. Hats off to Miss Brittany for her selfless act of kindness! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |
