That didn't work for me. I actually liked it better the first few times I listened to it. After about the 12th or 13th listen I was getting kind of bored, and skipping some of the songs. Still it's not a terrible relase IMO. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Another disc I wasn't to thrilled about after I got it:

| Because of my position, I don't like doing this, but I'll add those that I was disappointed in for SOME reason: Blissed - The Other Side of the World (still can't get into this band for some reason) Faith Factor - Against A Darkened Sky (bad radio promo choices - will listen to full album soon) Fires of Babylon - s/t (for the talent it seems "flat" I guess) His Witness - Kingdom Come (perhaps I wasn't in an 80s mood when I listened to this one) Incrave - Dead End (didn't like the darker mood) Menchen - Red Rock (I elaborated elsewhere, but too many song structures seemed "off") Mission of One - s/t (didn't take my advice ) Orphan Project - OP II EP (give me more songs!) P.O.D. - When Angels & Serpents Dance (I elaborated elsewhere, but they sound like any other modern rock band now) Saint - Crime Scene Earth (singing, production) Seventh Power - Dominion & Power (singing) Seventh Seal - As Lives of One (too many old songs) Shining Star - Reset (uh... was this really the same band that did Fatal Mistake?) Souljourners - Mind Control (lyrics - good but not bold at all) The Jacob's Ladder - s/t (singing, production) X-Sinner - World Covered In Blood (singing, production) Ironically, some of these will still make my best of 2008 list as well. Go figure! _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Seventh Power - Dominion & Power / The music is awesome, but the same mono tone voice sung in three different bands is more than enough for me.
Twin Fusion - Identical Creation / I have high hopes for this band, but the drummer in this band should be kicked to the curb. The beats sound like they were filtered through a dozen pillows.
Flyleaf - Much Like Falling / I and my kids love Flyleaf, just not enough tracks here. Desperately seeking more tunes there mam.
Crown Of Thorns - Faith / The first two tracks were OK and then someone tripped over a cat or stepped on a duck during the recording.
Fireflight - Unbreakable / I like Fireflight, though I may not be as big a fan as my daughter...anyways this release was for me a dissapoinment. There were a couple of good tracks, but for most of the CD it seems like they were trying to hard to be liked.
Jacob's Dream - Dominion Of Darkness / I really don't know what's wrong with this band. Their first release rocked and rocked hard...everything after that was just second rate. Like I said in another post, I'm all for bands reinventing themselves but this is definitely devolution. |

| I'll add: Driver - Sons of Thunder (what's with those fadeouts?!?!?) Twin Fusion - Identical Creation (lyrics. I apparently missed the muffled drumming but I won't fault the drummer for bad mixing or mastering)
I like the new JD. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| It seems Staybrite and Topshot are Jacob's Dream fans. It seems Chris and I are not Jacob Dreams fans, but Eden's Way fans. |

I'll have to agree on this being a disappointment. I think the band is good, but they need a different singer. There is just something about their vocalist on this project that grates on the nerves._________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |
