| Hello,
Yesterday I updated Angelic Warlord to include two new reviews, Static Fuse and Serpents Of Glory, along with a TON of Christian metal news (this is one of the biggest news updates I have had in some time).
Check it out: http://www.angelicwarlord.com/
Next weekend I hope to have reviews of Zephaniah and the new X-Sinner online. The new Eden's Way should follow shortly but the CD has not arrived yet.
Thanks for all the support,
Andy |

| I've been meaning to get the Static Fuse but just haven't. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| Static Fuse is a good cd. I love the bluesy song that ends the disc. I would love to have a whole album in that style. |

| I'm surprised you're considering Zephaniah a Christian release. Where do you get that from? I saw nothing on their site or from their lyrics to indicate such. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

Good question. While not a Christian band, Zephaniah might fall under the heading "band of Christians". The following was posted by opengraverecords at CMR in a thread about Zephaniah:
| Quote: | | I emailed the band asking them, and they replied back that they are Christians. They just don't play Jesus's per minute. |
As for Zephaniah's lyrics, they focus mainly on battles, warfare, dragons, evil kings, pirates, etc. No, nothing profound but nothing harmful either. So I have no problem reviewing them. Also, in the past at Angelic Warlord I have reviewed other "bands of Christians" or mainstream bands with Christian members. |

Just making sure I didn't miss something. I like their music (and they're from IN). _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

Good point. Band such as Shadow Gallery (all Christian members) and Threshold (lyrics written by lone Christian member Richard West) do have a faith component.
That said, albums I have reviewed by Avian and Pyramaze have science fiction and/or high fantasy themes to their lyrics- so I did not think their would be anything wrong with reviewing Zephaniah (which heads in a somewhat similar lyrical direction). |

| I'm not very familiar with their lyrics so I couldn't say. You're free to review whomever you like of course, but I would be clear on what to expect for those who come to your site because it's Christian. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

Just ordered it. Looking forward to hearing it! I'm also looking forward to hearing the next one that they have started working on._________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |
