| I was looking through the upcoming release list on Jesusfreakhideout.com when I noticed that Hyper Static Union had released an album, Meet Him in the Air, beneath my nose. I guess I didn't really expect it since it has been like 3 years or so since they released their debut album and won a dove award for best new band. They aren't the hardest, but they have solid vocals which have a bit of a soul feel and shows good range. Also the guitar is quite exceptional. I definitely recommend them to anybody. Unfortunately though, they only released it in digital form. If you haven't heard of them, you can check them out here: http://www.myspace.com/hyperstaticunion |

| I have their debut and it's pretty solid. I dislike the whole "digital release only" thing that a lot of people are starting to do. There are too many low cost ways to put out a CD for the fans who still like a physical copy. Until they release a CD, I just refuse to care about new music. I'd still like to hear the new songs released by Fighting Instinct before they quit. But, because that too was a digital only release, I just am not buying. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |
