| Day 97 | Quote: | For President Obama and all Americans to seek and find refuge in God when circumstances are difficult or daunting.
From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. —Philippians 1:27
Holy God of all history, You see all that has been and all that is to come, both in the grand sweep of time as well as in the minute details of our lives. Glorious and awesome are You, O Lord, in Your sovereignty and supremacy over all things. We praise and bless You for this O God, and thank You that there are no surprises or unexpected events to You.
Even as we rejoice in your omniscience, God, we acknowledge that in our human frailty we are vulnerable to turns of events and drastic moments in history that impact and change things forever. None of us knows, O Lord, what surprising and daunting events lie in wait for us; we simply know that they will come. We pray today that when those future moments of great difficulty come, our President and we as citizens will turn to You without hesitancy, taking refuge in Your strength. Thank You, Lord for being a strong and safe place, in Jesus’ name, amen. |

| Day 98 | Quote: | For President Obama and all Americans to earnestly desire to keep God’s Word in their hearts to be empowered to live the holy lives I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. —Psalm 119:11
As we pause to praise You today, we remember the words of President Abraham Lincoln, who said of Your Word, “It is the best gift God has given to men. All the good Savior gave to the world was communicated through this book. But for it we could not know right from wrong. All things desirable for man’s welfare, here and hereafter, are to be found portrayed in it.” Your Word, O God, is empowering! We ask today, Lord, that You give our President, and all of us, an unquenchable desire for the Bible and the wisdom it contains. Help us to be disciplined to read and apply it daily, and let it be planted within our hearts so that we may live in a way that makes You happy and impacts the lives of others. Do this, great God, we pray, in Your name, amen. |

| Day 99 | Quote: | For President Obama and members of his team to remain steadfast in their freedom to honor God and His values before leaders of the world I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts. I will speak of your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame, for I delight in your commands because I love them. —Psalm 119:45-47
Lord, You are the Way, the Truth and the Life. When we seek truth or wisdom in anything but You, we are ultimately disappointed. When we come to You, O Father, through Your Son Jesus, we find eternal life as a gift from You, and we are privileged to walk in truth as we follow You all of our days. How we praise You for this marvelous truth, Lord, and we thank You that You call us Your own and You do not put us to shame. We bless You holy, God! You have lifted up President Barack Obama to represent our nation among the nations of the world, Lord, and we ask today, that he will be resolute, gracious and wise in his convictions and in the truth of his Christian faith as he meets with world leaders. Give him peace and encouragement, Lord, causing him to hold fast to You and Your holy word. I ask this in Jesus’ mighty name, amen. |

| Can we now unite in praying him out of office? _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| Thank you sabidoo for posting those prayers for 100 days. God always is listening to the prayers we pray. My hope is the President keeps searching for God for wisdom and what to do. |
