Often I look back upon the many healings I’ve experienced,
both through prayer and medicine, and I try to find out what I did to cooperate
with God in the healing process.
What was my relationship with God
during those times? What did I do to release my faith to Him?
If you need
to be healed, you can cooperate with God in your healing process by asking
yourself similar questions. Have you put God first in your thoughts and asked
for His help? Have you focused your faith on Him for the continued provision of
your health? Are you continuously directing your mind to think positive thoughts
about your life and your situation?
Maintaining a positive attitude is so
important in cooperating with God in the healing process. When negative thoughts
try to enter your mind, concentrate on scriptural truths like I am the Lord that
healeth thee (Exodus 15:26) and, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee
(Hebrews 13:5). If you begin to feel discouraged-and we all do at times-pick up
your Bible and immerse yourself in God’s Word.
Declare the Word over
yourself and your loved ones. There is something about hearing yourself speak
God’s Word on a constant basis that causes faith to rise in your heart to claim
His power to make you whole.
Lord, I walk in the wholeness that You have supplied for
me, spirit, soul, and body.
