| it's raining here today and the road between my place and school can get pretty treacherous. i see accidents ranging from simple fender-benders to 6-car pileups all the time.
well, traveling home today in thick traffic a Jeep Grand Cherokee made a sudden stop in front of me.
i was about 2-car lengths behind and i reacted by slamming on the brakes.
my little Toyota Echo began to slide and unfortunately, i slid into the back of the Jeep.
we pulled off the road and surveyed the damage.
the Jeep suffered some minor scratches on the bumper but the hood of my little Echo was crunched back.
it wasnt far and it was really just one deep spot and the sides are open a little bit.
the policeman on the scene was really nice about it, but i had to get a ticket for not reducing speed.
ssoooo... why a praise report?
i'm thanking God because this could have been so much worse! people die in auto accidents and on wet roads like this every day, but today i was spared!
God is good... even when things seem to go wrong!  |

the problem with the car is mostly aesthetic, so hopefully i can get it fixed soon.
i'm more worried about my insurance and how it will be affected.
