| Well, tomorrow is a new big day for me. Fall Creek Baptist Church has gone through the interview process with me over the last 2 months. I've done three trial weeks and preached at their recent revival. I have felt God moving my wife and I this way long before now. But, tomorrow, they will take their final vote on whether I will become their new youth pastor.
Sure, it's gonna mean some changes for us. It's going to mean some changes for my home church--they're going to need prayer, too. But, I am ready for new challenges and look forward to working in this new church.
With the vote being tomorrow, just pray for God's will in this. I will be satisfied with whatever He wills whether it be a "yes" or "no" vote. I am just ready to know His direction in this, and tomorrow we get the answer. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| Been praying for you over this, and am really interested to find out what God wants you to do in the future, either FCBC or wherever.
Bet it's difficult to relax in a situation like this, when you're just waiting for the final answer. I hope it works out for the best for you.

| Well, as Sabidoo said, the decision has been made. I would have given you all the news, but I left for church yesterday morning a little after 9 AM but did not come back home until nearly 11 PM. I just fell into bed. The church did take their vote yesterday. Bro. Greg called me to give me the news and break it to me gently. It seems that the church is looking for some freak like me to be their youth pastor. So, now comes the time to officially announce this at my current church and set up a proper exit plan--which is already in progress. Thanks for the prayers in this, and now I'm going to need it even more as I prepare to warp the minds of yet another group of church kids! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| YEPPERS, that's wonderful, awesome news that the Fall Creek Baptist Church has a new youth pastor. Yes, you need the prayers even more now you have to start to lead the youth group and you know you can count on my persistent prayers when you start this job.
God is good to provide in this.

| Things took off a little shakey. I had to teach a Sunday School class that I was not expecting to have to teach because a teacher did not show up or call anyone. That's never a good thing.
The Sunday night class I am supposed to teach went well. With the holiday weekend, our numbers were down. We've got a lot of rebuilding to do with this group, but the potential is there.
I'll be interested in seeing how many people we have Wednesday night. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| God never will give you things you can't do. Sometimes he's giving you a new challence or new things to do. You never have to do it alone, because God always shall give you what you need to do and what you need to be a good youth pastor in this congregation. |

| Well, it's official. After serving in the new position for 3 months, we had to be reevaluated by the search committee and deacon board. Then, we had to be voted on a 2nd time to see if we passed our 90 day trial period.
The vote was positive, and I am being retained as the youth pastor at Fall Creek Baptist for however long God wants me there! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |
