| Well, guess what diagnosis is added to my ever-growing list of ailments ? It's one of those illnesses people joke about a lot... but having it, well, I'm discovering it's not too funny. I've had 2 major episodes of Narcolepsy now, and several small episodes including all the weird symptoms that go along with this scary autoimmune disease..... | It seems the pattern is "autoimmunity" disfunction overall. I've been checked for HIV and AIDS,,, thank God those were neg (I weep for those who suffer with that form of autoimmunity diseease... horrible).
Nevertheless, my body IS fighting itself and all the symptoms and diagnosis' are confirmed autoimmune. As much as I hate my body, my body hates itself worse and is at war with itself.
Oughta be an interesting ride in this body of death as time goes on.
Please just pray that this narcolepsy doesn't trigger while Im driving... I dont want to hurt anyone. |

I used to work with a man who had narcolepsy. He wore a wrist watch when he drove and at work that had the alarm set to go off every 3 minutes. He stayed at his machine a lot and just stayed moving so he wouldn't go to sleep.
