PostSubject: Always in threes ?   Mon Jun 29, 2009 10:22 am

My Mom use to always say, popular people always die in threes....
So we got Farrah, Michael and now Billy Mays.

What do you think of this "3s" thing ?

What if another star dies this week, does that mean it starts all over and 2 more will die soon ?
Or does it mean that it's changed and now the famous always go in "4s" ??

Or is it all hooey blooey and a buncha furshlugginer silliness ?

Well aren't we already up to four celebrities now anyway? (maybe it will be six before long)?

By my count in the last few weeks I have heard of the deaths of these four.

Ed McMahon 86
Michael Jackson 50
Farah Fawcett 62
Billy Mays 50

What? No witty comments from the peanut gallery?

I was expecting someone to say that Billy Mays (t.v. commercial pitchman) doesn't count as a celebrity.

What? You say you've never even heard of Billy Mays? Well just sample below for some of his best work.

50 is a bit to young to die.

I've thought about Michael jackson, maybe this is better for him
His life wasn't so happy at least that's what I understood.

Teramaze has lost the drummer.

Well if Mr Jackson had not been delivered from his sins by our mighty Lord and Savior Jesus before his death, I am sure he would rather still be alive.

Too true, Bro! I really hope Michael got his heart right with the Lord before he stepped out into eternity. The thought of anyone spending forever in unending torment is heartbreaking.

Oh yes, very much so. Makes me want to go witness to everyone on the street in front of my office.

I think it's balogna... you can always find a pattern if you look, but that does not always mean it is there.

As for MJ, he was raised a JW, but reportedly converted to Islam a while back.

Sounds not good.
Not like giving his life to Jesus.

You left off:

David Carradine
Jeanie C. Riley (country singer who wrote the song "Harper Valley P.T.A.")

Looks like we can start another round. Former Titans quarterback Steve McNair was shot and killed in Nashville, TN yesterday. He was with an "unidentified woman" who was not his wife. The woman was also killed.

Yup, David Carradine (not to be confused with his brother Kieth) was the star of Kung Fu.

That "Night Rider dude" was the multi talented David Hasselhoff

I was wondering if that would make anyone cringe. ROTFL

You gotta give the guy props though, besides acting he has a singing career and I hear he is just huge for his music in Germany.
Can't say that I was ever overly impressed with his acting, and what I heard from his singing was really my cup of tea either.
