| Today is the day that the USA pushed mother England away. We decided we could stand on our new land without their helping hand.
(Is is just me, or is there some weird rhyme going on here?) _________________  I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

hmm I don't know... I think day with parades is a bit of a stretch but I gueeessss that's acceptable
Actually I watched the Washington celebration on T.V.
The fireworks looked pretty impressive to me !  |

Besides, we weren't really trying to create high quality art. | Hope your 4th was happy and fun.
Mine was long with too much sun.
With plenty of food, family,friends and jubilation.
Still we remebered those who started our nation.

But the rain did fall, and our hopes did sink
