When I first got into Christian metal I found loads of great albums, and some that were my favourite of that year or month, but it was Bride's "Snakes In The Playground" that was my first real "FAVOURITE ALBUM OF ALL TIME". To me only a few albums have got to that place. Not just good or even great albums, but the best of the best of the best.

So in about 1996 Bride's "Snakes" album became my favourite of all time.
Then came Tourniquet and "Stop The Bleeding" became my favourite after I'd purchased it in about 1999. And it's been at my number one since then. So Snakes had 3 years at the top, then STB has had 10 years so far.

BUT I think it may be changing! I never thought I'd find an album that was as great as STB, but I do believe that I may have! You may ask what album it is (some may have guessed already), and it's Theocracy's Mirror Of Souls. I just can't get over how good it is on ALL levels. The melodies, the harmonies (something I love), the music, the solos, and especially the lyrics. It's top notch and totally absorbing.

The jury is still out, but I think after 10 years at the top spot STB may be relegated to 2nd.

Theocracy and Seventh Avenue were my albums of 2008 (and I'm going to keep them as both joint winners of that year), and I still think that Terium is SA's best album, and is probably in my top 10 of all time. But Mirror Of Souls just keeps getting better and better.

There is no album ever made that I won't get tired of if I listen to it for more than a week. That being said, I'd probably have to go with Whitecross' first album. It was my first Christian metal album and still gets airplay today, more than 20 years later.

Always my faves...I do like the alternative side as well...but you can't beat the good old days of rock...

Just one album is hard to pick, but if I had to pick only one I'd say Tourniquet's "Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance". Guardian's "First Watch" is a close second.

I don't think I could really nail down a single, solitary album to be my absolute favorite. I'd have to list many albums, and many artists.
