I just found out Stryper is playing a show in Cincinnati about an hour away from my college on October 6th. It'll probably be one of the highlights of my life.

Still waiting to hear if they are going to be playing in Phoenix...

Off to check out the reviews and news now, funny thing is I'm listening to Venia right now. Very happy to see the rerecorded "Tiavaassa" from their demo, great to have my favorite Venia tune with a much improved production.

Good review! I haven't received my copy in the mail yet, but I'm guessing I'll pretty much echo what you have stated, based on the sample tracks I listened to on Myspace. Great review for "Spooning Out the Sea" as well - fantastic album!

Stryper has a new album?

Good review Andy. I think you got it pretty much the way I see it. I haven't been listening to it loads and loads, but it is a good album and one I am very glad that I have in my collection.

I loved Murder by Pride that to me was a quality Stryper album I love the title track and "Run to you" I love both those songs

Anything Stryper touches is pure gold IMO.

Meh, I actually didn't really care for the new Stryper that much. I know around here that's probably blasphemy, but honestly (lol) the songs just didn't grab me much.
