He's been in so long that he is very angry and depressed.

That's too bad, I can empathize though, I hate hospitals.
Praying he gets to go home very soon.

It's getting worse as far as the agitation level is concerned. They had told us Thursday that they would run a 3rd angiogram, but probably send daddy home and let him come back as an out-patient. Then, they changed it on Sunday to doing a 3rd one while he's in the hospital. They scheduled it for yesterday as an add-on, and ended up canceling the procedure. He's back on the list for today, but as an add-on. So, they are probably going to do it late--if at all.

I am about ready to choke the living daylights out of the next doctor that walks in his room.

It's confusing what they want with your dad isn't it?
I hope they do the 3rd angiogram today to see if they can find more.

Your dad and you have the right to know what's going on.
Is it responsible to send your dad home and let him come back for an angiogram as outdoor patient.

God gives you the patient and understanding you need to deal with all those situations.

They are now planning on sending him to a regular room out of this ICU. They have already removed one IV and the cath. Whether they are planning on doing the angiogram remains to be scene.

At least there's something going to happen.
Does your dad likes it to go to a regular room?

They have canceled the 3rd angiogram.

Daddy got moved out of ICU to a Neuro stepdown unit. We should be going to the VA soon for therapy on his legs.

Well if that means they don't think he needs it, then good news!

Daddy moves to the VA today at 9 AM for physical therapy. I know he'll be glad to get out of Vandy after 18 days.

I bet he will. I'd probably be climbing the walls after 18 days in the hospital.
Praying his physical therapy goes well.

My dad has come a long way. He is in therapy now at the VA Hospital
and is walking some with a walker. He's got a way to go to get all his
strength back. He's been hospitalized now for over a month.

It takes a long time before you dad is strong enough to go home.
I recognize this from my uncle.
Recovering after an aneurism takes time, a lot of time.
Your dad will be stronger, every day a little bit till he's strong enough to go home.

I hope he can stay in the Va for a while.
Good he can walk with a walker.
How are his heacaches?
