| What do you think of releases and rereleases of CDs? Some CDs never have been released on CD, only on tape. Some band rerelease their last CDs to add some extra bonus songs.
What's your opinion about rereleases? Do you like it and buy every new rereleased album of your favorite bands? Or, you are only interested in releases of bands who never released their music on CD?
I know there's so much older but very good rockin' music of bands that needs to be rereleased. What about bands like Mastedon who have the plan to rerelease their CDS? |

| I love rereleases of older albums. I only started listening to Christian metal/hard rock back in 2003/2004. The only way I have been able to get many of those classic albums is due to rereleases. I say keep 'em coming. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I'd prefer to keep them coming, too. There were a lot of great demos from bands that never got signed to a label. That material needs to be remastered and released properly. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| I share the opinion of Chris and Gary. There's so much cool stuff that has to be remastered and released. A big job to do for RetroactiveRecords. |

| If it's something out of print and hard to fine then yes I will buy the re-release. Take the re-relase of Mastedons "it's a jungle out ther". Don't have the original but if this is the only way I can get it on cd then I will buy iit. The only re-releases I don't like are when newer stuff comes out and then 4 or 5 months here comes the deluxe edition with new stuff to get you to spend more money. I have noticed thou that more and more deluxe/regular releases are coming out at the same time. I think retroactive is doing a good job with thier releases. I would like to see them maybe try and get the rights to the old Frontline releases (Angelica,Idle Cure). They could do a better job then what KMG did with them. I didn't care for the 2 cds on 1 but again, that was the only way I could get the Idle Cure cds on cd |

| If it were not for the KMG reissues, I would not have Bloodgood's first 4! I would love to see the whole Bloodgood catalog redone with more bass in the mix. The songs they did were awesome, but the bass is almost non-existent on those albums. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| I agree that the KMG double album reissues were very poor, but like both of you that is how I managed to find the first 4 Idle Cure and the first 4 Bloodgood albums at a decent price. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Can I ask what KMG means? |

| I think it stood for Killien Music Group. They bought the old Frontline releases and re-released albums but as double albums. Like for Idle Cure one had st/2nd ave and the other had Inside Out/Tough Love. They had like Shout, Angelica and others. |

| Maybe we can make a list of bands we really want to see rereleased and send it to retroActive Records. We can post it as CHM-forum or so. |

| We can, but then they will ask us for contact information for some of these bands so that they can track down who owns the rights to the original recordings. There is more to a reissue than just making a new CD. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |
