Ceck out : http://www.divinemetaldistro.com/

To download free music from bands like Applehead, Michael Phillips, Thieves & Liars, Jacob's Dream.

This is the way to check out new music.

She's refering to the divine metal podcast. You gotta download the podcast to hear the songs from those artists. Not "literally" free music, but a free podcast that will let you hear a bunch of that stuff.

If you go to blabberdownload it is at the top of their page along with several other free "legal" downloads.

I think that's it.
There really was a link on the DMD site where you can download music for free.

OK, I get it now. I have downloaded the first several podcasts, but I just can't listen to a lot of the thrash/death/black/hardcore that was on most of the earlier podcasts.

That was me too, I found myself skipping so much of that stuff that it was like I was only listening to 2 or 3 songs out of the entrie hour.

I just downloaded an album of old hymns redone by one Kenny Tamplin. If you're a Facebook friend of his, you can get the album free via e-mail. Just hit KT with a PM, and he'll hook you up.
