I've slowed down on buying new books. I have several stacks I need to finish before spending more on books.
But, you are correct that you got this one before me. To be honest, I probably won't read this one. The story description doesn't really interest me, so I'm gonna pass on this one._________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

I almost quit buying books altogether and just get most of them from the library now (some I get loaned to me, and a few I actually buy). I didn't now what the book was about before I read it, but in all honesty I might have skipped it too. IMO it turned out to be one of his "lesser" novels. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| 'His Dark Materials' - Phillip Pullman. Not finished reading it yet, but an epic tale, set in an alternate universe. Not a Christian work, but so far an interesting story. Looking forward to reading 'Immanuel's Veins'. |

Let me know what you think of that (when you get to it). I was a little less than impressed.....kinda seemed like he was working on autopilot.

| I just counted all the books I have read this year. I am WAY down from last year. If I finish the one I am on before year's end, I will be at 28 for the year. Last year, I read 40! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| According to this thread I have read 11 books this year (working on #12 right now). Of course I listen to probably two or three times that many driving back and forth to work. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
