One of my friends told me about these guys, the guitar and drum players used to be in a big hardcore band called Still Remains. They broke up a couple years ago, but these two guys decided to try and get a band together and keep playing. They've recorded all the guitar, bass and drums, but the only thing missing is a vocalist. The two songs they have posted are absolutely amazing and I have a feeling that when they find a vocalist that they're gonna be huge! They say they're looking for a vocalist who preferably sings (as opposed to screaming). Check 'em out!

Well I hope they get a great melodic singer, cuz if they put a growly croaking hardcore singer on top of that fantastic music they will ruin it.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for too. I already have enough screaming bands on my Ipod.

Let us know when they post some tunes with vocals. It sounds really promising.

The screamo vocals have been done to death. So have the cookie monster death metal vocals. It's time to put more melody back into the metal--even if the music is more extreme. When a band gets to where the extreme vocals are more prevalent than the melodic vocals, I just tune them out or shut them off.

Now that I've heard the tracks, I definitely think a melodic voice with a lot of power and range would be great for this band. I hope they find someone who shares their vision and can really take them to another level.

The music of Anthem Alone sounds fantastic.
A cookie monster vocalist will spoil the wonderful music.
I hope the guys from Anthem Alone will find a vocalist with a voice that fits to their music.

The music reminds me a bit to Narnia, or the other Swedish rockbands.
Or am I very silly now?

No, you are right. I could hear Rob Rock or Christian Rivel on this.
