| The topic about lead singers' solo projects lead me to go see what John Elefante was up to these days, as I'm a big fan of his solo work.
Apparently, a new Mastedon album (credited as "John Elefante and Mastedon") was released last year, though it's only available in digital form (see http://www.johnelefante.com for links).
The current lineup of Mastedon features John, his brother Dino, Dave Amato (from REO Speedwagon) and Anthony Sallee (from White Heart). |

| I was gonna say that it was released on CD. It is a Mastedon release on the European market, and a John Elephante release here in the USA. You can get the CD through NEH Records and a lot of Christian metal distros online. _________________  I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| The Mastedon 3 album also has at least one more track on it than the digital JE solo album version.

| Yep, I picked up this CD last year as well. It's not as heavy as the first two Mastedons, but it still  !!! |

| Enjoying this one - esp. the track with Kerry Livgren playing on it - but miss the heavier approach of the two earlier albums ...
