That sounds like a fantastic idea to me.

Lots of overtime this summer, interspersed with: repairing our bathroom floor, appearing in court in Alabama on behalf of a dear friend who is trying to win full custody of his son, spending a great deal of time with my son & stepson, camping with my dear wife, and working on putting together a mobile praise & worship band with my wife and some friends.

Oh man that is one busy summer.
We are getting some new foster children this summer (just got one this week), so I think I may have been able dodge the annual summer camping trip.

My plans are to finish remodeling the upstairs enough so we can move up there next week so I can then demo the living room, dining room and kitchen and put them back together before July 29. Then I'll be backpacking in Wyoming and Colorado until Aug 10.

I keep reading your remodeling updates on facebook. By the sounds of it you will have a completely new house by the time you are done.

Sounds great Michael backpacking to Wyoming and Colorado.
Good luck with the remodeling, hope you can finish it soon.
I think you are remodling for a long time now.

After a week off from youth events, it's time to get crazy again. I'm leaving for youth camp this week, and then going to camp with the children from church next week. I'll be tan and tired!

If I have wifi at the camp, I'll pop in and say hello.

Well if not, it sounds like there will be plenty of scrap lumber around to build you a casket.

(ok that was probably in poor taste, but Sabidoo hasn't posted here in a long time)

Well, I prefer to be cremated so you could just light it on fire (well away from the house).

I think they might have laws against doing that on you own property.
Maybe you could get a special permit or something?

Great to hear you made it home safe (no bear attacks I'm guessing).
When you get settled in I would love to see those pictures your husband took in Blaine.

We've seen 5 black bears and one grizzly. Lots of chipmunks and deer.
I will send you the pictures my husband made.
They are cool.

I'm looking forward to those pics as well.

I survived a week at church camp with my teens. Had some rough moments, and some blessed moments as well. I'm home for the weekend, and then I'm off to church camp with the younger children this next week.

It seems church camps hold you away from CHM.

I will post pictures from the trip to Canada.

But ....... help me how to post a picture on CHM.

Have had rough moments in Canada too.
I still have very rough moments to get used to our time.
Today I felt so terrible and soooooooooo tired.

Just finished up my second week of camp. I must say that working with little kids is a lot more tiring than working with teenagers! LOL

And, today I continue my "working" with kids as I am headed out for a day trip to Holiday World in Indiana. It will be fun!
