| Saint is rereleasing their 2004 album "In The Battle". The album has been remastered by Cliffy and will feature all new artwork. There are no bonus tracks.
What are your thoughts on this?
For me, I like the sound just fine and won't be buying another just for a remaster and new artwork. If they had added some bonus songs, I might be interested. But, for now, I will pass.
They will be reissuing "The Mark" as well. It too will be remastered and have new artwork. Again, no bonus features. I don't think I'll get this either. _________________  I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| I have both already and didn't really think the mastering was all that bad.
I probably won't get either one, especially since there is no new material. There are so many new cds on my want's list, that I can't really afford to re-buy stuff I already have.
I might be convinced if I could get it as a really cheap down-load.

| For me the 2004 release of "In The Battle" I have sounds perfect for me.
I'm not waiting for again a rerelease of a CD I already have.
I better can safe the money for a brandnew CD . |

| Having heard both versions of 'In The Battle'.... Cliffy's remaster tones down the shrill factor and adds some much needed depth and low end.
It really does sound better .... I have an original CD but the new master is cool.... I think the issue here is that Richard probably was totally happy with the original mastering and the disc has been out of circulation for a while.... |

| I think that the issue is that it is out of print now. I'm with Gary that there are too many other things I want to check out. | Same here. I'm quite happy with the original, even though I'm sure that Cliffy has done a great job (as usual) and the artwork is probably ten times better I can't justify buying the same album again - there would have to be bonus tracks on it!
