Can't believe I didn't like this!

Years ago, I remembering hearing the first Skillet album and not liking it. I got rid of it pretty quickly.

But, I borrowed the CD from a friend, and I'm sitting here digging this. They remind me a lot of Nirvana or The Foo Fighters on their earliest album.

Haven't listened to it in a long time. It is a good cd. In fact the song Saturn is still one of my favorite songs by them.

I like the music on "I Can", but repeating that phrase over and over does get more than a tad redundant.

I have the albums from "Alien Youth" through "Awake". I did not keep anything prior to "Alien Youth". I just didn't care for them. Now, I am willing to check out those early albums like "Hey You, I Love Your Soul" and "Invincible" just to give them a 2nd chance. Maybe I'll dig them too after a few years hiatus.

Yeh, Skillet are good, I have three of theirs. Alien Youth, Collide and Invincible. Best Kept Secret and You're Powerful are my favourite tracks from Invincible.

Sometimes it takes time before you really like a CD.
For some years I have listened to Disciple and really tried to like them.
Then a year ago I saw Disciple playing and becme a fan.
