| Sunday, that means most of us go to church. We always start with praise and worship. I like to sing for Jesus. The sermon for today will be done by my old neighbor. It was him who brought me to God.
I hope you all have a great service in your church today. My hope is you can feel the presence of the Lord in your service. Or feel something in the service that will touch your heart.
Maybe we can use this thread to tell each other about your service?

| Today was a big day for me at church. Our church is very traditional, so I had decided to sing and play my guitar. We almost never have a guitar in the church. Also, I did not do a traditional song. Instead, I went with the worship song "You Are Good" by Jeff Deyo. I was so nervous, but it went over really well. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| Before I went to church I asked God to give me a song, a word or things in the sermon to touch me.
Now that really happened. We sung "So Would You Come". This song is very emotional for me to sing.
Some things from the sermon touched my heart too.
That's cool to read that you did it well. Have you had reactions for the members of your church?

| I would have told you both about our church service this weekend but we all over-slept and missed service. One of our little foster kids has been running a fever for the last few days, and yesterday we finally took him to the doctor. Poor little guy has a virus. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| This morning I asked the Lord to encourage me in the service. Now He really did. The sermon was so full of encouragements that I touched me deeply. At the end of the service the pastor asked to open your hands for God if you have to share with Him. I opend my hand and shared my struggles with God. Then I really felt the presence of the Lord in my life. What a wonderful Lord we serve.

| This Sunday, we are starting revival meetings. Our choir was to sing "It Is Well With My Soul". I was asked to do a solo during verse 3. One lady played the flute during the song. It was beautiful. Our music director asked me to sing a solo again tonight. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| Yesterday our pastor gave a fantastic message about being a church "family". We also got to take our foster kids to church (they really like it there). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| The service of yesterday touched me so deep. It was like the sermon was written special for me. The pastor told us about how to understand and listen to the voice of God.
Maybe you don't believe in prophecies? Or prophecies are not used in your church? In our church are people who have gotten the gift of speaking out "words of God". Yesterday there was a word spoken. I felt it was for me.
In my church the elder of church always check out spoken words to know it really are words from God. This word was because my sister has told me the same what "the word" told me. |
