Need LOTS of prayer from anyone you know. There's a lot about this whole situation that's like an accident waiting to happen. I'll be very busy the next couple weeks and won't be on here much except to add any updates.

Sounds as if the Board members are being hesitant and rather non-commital (seems typical of those in government).

Sounds as if your community center still nees our continued prayer.

We're under attack right now, but things are looking pretty bright. The
city attorney has said our proposal isn't legitimate because we didn't
pay a required bond. The way we read the RFP, that was to be paid upon
the city deciding upon which proposal to pursue. We're hoping once we
contact him that they'll let us pay it now.



The awesome news is that we've attracted the interest of a large
ministry who is flying in next week to look over the building and other
buildings in town if necessary to see how they can help us get this
ministry off the ground.



Keep those prayers coming guys. I think the city's building would still be the best at this point.

They have allowed us to pay the bond so we're back in the race.

I still pray for this too.

Topshot I am curious to hear how it goes with the fight to keep the community centre?
Is there any news?

Not much. Our interview has been pushed back to Wed, and I'm not sure how long it will take them to make their decision. I would assume it would be quick as the other group already had their interview.

I'm going to keep praying that you guys will get this community center. I think you are really wanting to do something with it that would honor God. And, with that in mind, I believe He is going to come through for you. But, He might stretch the time frame out a bit just to test your faith.

I still pray that the community center is for you guys.
God knows you will use the community center for His glory and God knows what the others the community centre will use for.

Our interview went well today. Now we just have to wait and see what else they may want to know before making a decision, which could take several weeks as it turns out. Regardless of whether we get the city building our main sponsor wants to help get us started somewhere so we've been investigating other buildings and land, too, just in case.
