Are these the Christian bands ??

I discovered 2 oop albums that have the same names of Christian bands that I have. I know that doesn't mean they're the same bands, but they seem like Christian albums as well which makes me wonder if they are the same bands .... but I could be wrong. Anybody know if these are the Christian bands ?

Eden ?

From the description on CD Baby it appears that HAVEN is a completley differnt band then the HAVEN from the Christian market. This one is female fronted and doesn't really have anything linking them to that band asided from the name.

Eden, I'm not sure. My recolition is that they only had the one album and that was it. I remember that when it was released thier was talking of maybe doing a new album but I haven't heard anything since then

I had that Eden album BITD. Definitely not the same band and not Christian.

I did an search and think both bands have the same names as the Christian Haven and Eden.
But are not Christian bands.

and btw, how dare they take the names of 2 awesome Christian rock bands !!!

(no that is not Ken Tamplin's Shout, but apparently it is a Christian group)
I think part of it is that bands don't even try to research and see if a name has been used by another recording artist/band. Or they just don't care.....maybe the mentality is "that band was 20 years ago and nobody is going to remember them....etc."

Oh c'mon Staybrite, the names are COMPLETELY different ! How could you mix up "Shout" with "Shout!" ?

The new band added an exclamation mark which TOTALLY differentiates them.

Yes we do, but sadly I say we are probably not the majority....(and at your age you are definately not the majority).

Very true. It saddens me that when I mention the band Shout (not Shout!) the first thing my friends think about is this song:

I don't get it, that's who I thought Staybrite was talking about
