Long story short:
I work with Robert, he's been going thru custody battle with his ex. His little girl is his whole life. Back in December he came to the Lord and he prayed with our pastor and wants to trust Jesus with his daughter.
Today's the court thing and it's currently not going well.
The situation is the typical frustrating one:
Daddy works for a living, can provide but not always there cuz of job.
Mommy on welfare, can provide from the state and always be there... however, mommy also drinks and has other questionable situations.

I just want God's will, but of course I want God's will to be in Robert's favor

I'll be praying for your coworker Robert.

A sad situation.

Yeah, that is a difficult situation.

I just received a very heartbreaking phone call and was informed the child will not be given to her Dad. Robert is devastated.
The judge said it was a very difficult case and that the ONLY thing that finalized the decision was that the child's psychological evaluation proved that she is a "little" more bonded to her mother than her father.
He gets her on holidays and spring breaks.
God, I just feel terrible for Robert. It's very heartbreaking. I wish there was something I could do for him.

He doesn't even get any kind of weekend custody?
That is terrible. I can only imagine how he feels.

I pray God will help him through this, and that he can still be an effective witness to his daughter.

Thanks. I haven't been able to get a hold of him. I put a note of encouragement on his door last night, but I haven't heard from him.
