| Currently I am reading "Crazy Love" by Fancis Chan, and "Deadline" by Randy Alcorn.
However, I am in the last week of my final class in my Master's program, so I should be able to read a lot of great books I have been waiting to read. I have tons of stuff I have been picking up to read when I am done. I have the entire "Brother Cadfael" series to read (21 books) by Ellis Peters, the "King Raven" trilogy by Stephen Lawhead to name a few. |

| I just got done listening to Upton's Sinclair's 1927 classic "Oil!".
Let me save you all the trouble of reading this incredibly long novel and tell you that it isn't really that much different than his other famed novel "The Jungle". In both stories he spends the first half of the book developing interesting characters, then he blows it in the second half of the book by spilling his Socialist manifesto/agenda with a very heavy handed pen on nearly every page.....pretty much ruining the rest of the story line IMO.

| Just finished Burn by Ted Dekker and Erin Healy. I don't know if something's wrong with me, but I can't seem to get into Dekker's current work like I did his earlier books. Burn was a chore for me to read; it didn't draw me in like Thr3e or Skin did. I don't know, maybe my tastes are changing. I'll never consider Ted Dekker anything less than a superb writer, but it bugs me when a favorite disappoints. |

I actually liked burn, but I know what you mean because that's the way I feel about the his more recent solo books (Immanuel's Veins, The Bride Collector, The Bone Man's Daughters) _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| How to Raise a Modern Day Knight by Robert Lewis. While there are a few issues, I'd highly recommend it for any fathers of boys up to teens. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."
