| Bill Menchen (the guy behind Final Axe, Titanic, Menchen) has just released a new Seventh Power ep called "Power And Glory". It is currently available only through iTunes and Amazon. Also, I saw this on Bill Menchen's website today: | Quote: | A new full length CD by the group "Menchen" will be released in early 2011.
Ken Redding and Robert Sweet of Stryper return to the line up.

| Well, if you liked the other Seventh Power stuff, this is pretty much bang on. Love his commitment to producing lots of christian music.

| Vocally they all sound different. What complaints I have heard from folks on other message boards is that his stuff sounds too much the same. | One of those complaints was from me. Its way too formulaic for me. Not nearly enough variety in the sound. |

I can actually see where you're coming from with that. I have the same complaint with another band, War of Ages. It's all fast, up-tempo, melodic, hardcore, and has fantastic lyrics. Yet, whenever I listen to them I feel like they're just following the same formula they use to write all their records. With that said, it is a fantastic formula that really works. They haven't put out a single album that I haven't bought the day it came out and I sill play them all frequently. So if it's a formula that works, I don't mind listenin to it, but I would appreciate something a little different. |
