MediSin is a Christian hard rock band I recently discovered from Detroit. Just ordered their new CD "Fire On The Moon". Samples and lyrics are available at: http://www.medisinwheel.com/

The following was taken from the groups website:

Quote:
Contarary to how I may appear at times – I’m not at all opposed to being known as a Christian band, because we are. I’m just opposed to being pre-lumped in as Jesus Freak fluff, categorically. What I’m always trying to hone in on in particular – is how the secular world, the Non Churched – quantifies what an actual Christian band is. I think he was expecting Stryper. Nothing could be further from the truth. MediSin Wheel is a thinking man’s band, a provocative band, a band that refuses to be categorized…Stryper is great at what they do and we ALL owe a huge debt of gratitude to them. But MediSin Wheel is designed to shake the room, and then leave it to yourselves to discuss and discover. You could say that we paint with a sledghammer. But at least it’s in tune….

I think I have heard the name before, but I don't remember the music at all. Once the kiddies are done watching Snow White I will crank up the speakers on my computer and check them out.

Ok, I'm listening now.....very cool bluesy hardrock (almost proto-doom) kind of sound.

These guys remind me a lot of F.O.G. (bonus for me the album is on emusic as well).
I know what I getting on emusic for February.

Thanks Andy!

They really, REALLY sound like F.O.G. Like Staybrite said, now I can get something from eMusic this month. I needed to get something before I lost my credits again.

And I agree with Chris and Staybrite.
When I listen to MediSin Wheel I hear the voice of Dave from F.O.G.
I do the same.
Using my credits for downloading MediSin Wheel.
