It started in Tunesia.
The discontent with the current regime.
Now in Egypt the old regime is gone.
In Libya they show their displeasure with the long dominant Gaddafi.
More countries with dictatorial regimes in Africa have clearly shown their dissatisfaction.

I have thought if this is the beginning of what is written in Revalations.
This world is in labor.
Could this be the beginning of what is written in Revelation, which eventually will lead to the return of Jesus?

What are your thoughts about this?
Maybe we can study about those who are interested what's written in Revelations about these things.
I think it's interesting to know more about all that's going on in Africa.

All I can think about is Matthew 24. We'll know the season.

In all honesty - no mockery intended - but there has been strife forever. Maybe sooner, maybe later, but He'll be back.

I haven't a clue when the end of the world will be. I look at the media and listen to all the headlines which makes me think 'this sounds like the end of the world is getting closer.' But there's been so many catastrophes over the millennia that it's pretty tricky to work out if these events are signalling the end, or just the beginning of the end. There have been reports that there are more earth quakes now then there've ever been, but maybe that's because we have better ways of measuring them. Also some reports say that the number of earth quakes is pretty much constant, so in the end who knows. The things going on in the Middle East are certainly interesting, and could be a prelude to the end, but when push comes to shove I haven't a clue.

I sometimes wonder if the reason why it seems that so much catastrophe has happened in the last few years doesn't have a lot to do with the media. News programs (t.v., newspaper, magazines, internet etc.) love to sensationalize the tragic events of our times. Seems like those types of stories get the most (and most sensational) coverage.....so we are just inundated with tragedy. But it truth the tragedy may not be much worse than it was 50 years ago.


But then again, Jesus is coming...
