New Skillet EP

According to JesusFreakHideout.com, Skillet will be releasing a Digital EP called Awake and Remixed EP containing several alternative versions of their last album, Awake. It is scheduled to be released to digital stores on March 22nd.

I will probably pass on that one, I don't tend to be much of a fan of remixed songs

An EP with remixed songs?

According to the article, they described it more like "Alternative" versions of the originals. Now, how different exactly still remains to be seen, but with Itunes and most likely Amazon as well, they let you listen to clips without buying, so I will base my decision to buy or not on those clips.

I think I'll pass on the remixes unless they make some of the lighter songs heavier and add guitar solos.

I wasn't terribly impressed w/ "Awake". It had some good songs and some passable ones, but was nowhere near as good an album (on the whole) as its predecessor.
