| Once again thank you to everyone who prayed for me in the past -
I just got my first Cholesterol blood tests back today - I wanted to share our joy with ya'all
December------------compared with-------------Today's blood test
Total Cholest* = 210 ---------------------------------- 151 Normal Triglycerides** = 366 ---------------------------------- 118 Normal VLDL Chol Cal*** = 73 ------------------------------------ 24 Normal No heart attacks or strokes for me ! Liver enzymes are lower too, showing less toxic junk going through my system.
Less than 4 months of no fast food, no sugar, no caffeine - Also added supplements incl Fish Oil and MultiVit
To date: I have lost 37 pounds since November (over 40+ pounds from my heaviest weight prior to November)
I feel GREAT !!!!! Wish I would have done this 7 years ago ! TO GOD BE THE GLORY !!!!
My wife has written down my complete diet change. I'm gonna type it up and share it with whoever wants to benefit from this blessing in my life. I've already got 3 people who are willing to do whatever I'm doing so they can lose weight and get their cholesterol under control. If what I went through all these years was so that I could help others.... it was worth it (in hindsight)
* The total amount of cholesterol in the blood. ** Tells how much sugar you're taking in everyday *** Bad Cholesterol -goal is to bring that number down (Good Cholesterol you want numbers to go up, mine went up 1 point... not much but it's still in the normal range) |

| I could definitely benefit from it, and would be more apt to do this with some partners for support. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| Great news!
My wife got a copy of that book for MVP but hasn't read it yet. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Very impressive how a diet can change your health.
It always helps when you get support. |

I did the same thing. Bought the book and it sat on my end table for a few weeks. It was Lisa who picked it up and read it through in one sitting. She asked me to give it a try for 1 month and I said why not. Best decision for my health I've ever made. |

| Most people can eat and drink what they want and feel ok... and even have pretty good labs. Where I had the problem was the fact that I have the heart valve problem that affects the autonomic system. So the more junk food, sugars and caffeine I took in, the more my autonomic system would go haywire. I'd have heart flip-flops, speeding heart, migraines twice a week, anxiety, panic attacks (which are horrible!), depression, pancreatitis, etc.
Just changing my diet and taking a few supplements made a difference in my symptoms within 2 weeks. 4 months later I'm 90% symptom free and am off all my meds.
(only thing I use now is some Advil and Flector patches due to the jacked up discs in my back) |

Sadly your diet won't fix that......demerol and morphine work pretty good, but have a tendency to ruin many other aspects of your life in the process (you know job, marriage, etc.) _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| But on a serious note. Been there tried that. After my 2nd back surgery, they put me on Percocet. Was on that trash longer than I shoulda been. Tapered myself off and now I just deal. I never believed it was possible, but humans can learn to live with daily pain... even severe pain. Not pleasant, but keeps you humble. I'll take pain over illness ANY day. |
