| I actually have two songs completely mixed and I am loving the mixes! I have never sounded so good! Home Recording For Dummies worked for me!
The two completed songs are called "No Other" and "Hostile To The Gospel". "No Other" is an AC/DC or X-Sinner kind of rocker. My vocals give it a bit of a Rose feel as well. David Franey, a guitarist from Nashville, carries the leads on this song. Although the song has that AC/DC feel, don't expect an Angus Young lead on this however.
"Hostile To The Gospel" will be the title track. It is more akin in style to something that Rob Rock would do. There are a lot of vocal parts--all handled by me. You will actually get to hear me sing naturally here without a lot of gravel added. It just didn't work. David Franey had also done the lead for this song, but I just wasn't loving it after several months (years?). So, I redid the leads myself. The leads are a bit more simplistic, but by twinning them out ala Stryper, they are more than sufficient. All in all, I like it!
