| Tomorrow I will be speaking at the funeral of a dear friend. This friend is a fellow pastor who was the one who led me to Christ, baptized me, performed my wedding ceremony 23 years ago, gave me my first chance to preach, and even gave me my minister's license. We are still close to the family, and they have asked me to do the service. It's going to be one of the hardest I have ever done. But, I am honored to be able to serve this man who has been there for me even after I had left his church.
So, any and all prayers tomorrow would be appreciated. Thanks! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| Praying God will be with you and give you the right words to say. Praise God that he has taken another of his children home. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| That's hard to loose a good friend and to lead his funeral too. God goes with you on this hard funeral. He gives you His strength to speak and to deal with the emotions. You are in my prayers today. |

| Tough circumstances, but I know you will be the best person to honor his life and remind folks about heaven. |

| Sorry to hear about his home call and I pray that the day will go well for you and everyone there. funerals can be strange situations when you're sad that they've gone but (if they're christian) happy at where they've arrived.

| It was a rough day, but it's been good. I think it really meant a lot to the family that I conducted the service. Bro. Billy always thought that I would take his place at the church he pastored for so many years. Things didn't work out that way, however.
So, I am glad that this is behind me, but it will be some time before it slips from my memory. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| It takes time to let this slip from your memory. He was a dear friend to you. Will pray if God will help you with the loss of Bro. Billy. |

| Sorry to hear you had to loose your mentor, but it must have been some consulation to you to conduct his service. It is hard to let go of those who mean so very much to us, but I bet he is smiling on you down from heaven. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
