| Just wanted to share this with anyone who appreciates silly (clean) humor:
When I was a wee one, I enjoyed this novelty 45 of my Mom’s by the Legal Eagles called “The Trial”. I loved how they took snippets of songs and used them as “answers” to questions in a “courtroom” setting. http://www.mediafire.com/file/nie8tdd0rqz20ea/The%20Trial.mp3 (quality is low, but not bad for a 1958 45 record that's been mistreated. My Mom bought this 45 new when she was a teenager !)
A few years later, being an avid listener of Dr Demento, I heard another creative novelty piece in the same style called “The 400 Mile Gas Line”. An interviewer asks questions of people waiting in line to get gas and their answers are “samples” from current songs. So clever and well made. http://www.mediafire.com/file/d0lz2vvl2zr3lqy/400%20Mile%20Gas%20Line.mp3
Imagine my delight several years later when I discovered a Christian artist had created their own “samples” interview. “Say What?” is the name of the wildly-funny Christian hip hop band that recorded what I know as the 3rd out of only 3 of these ever made. http://www.mediafire.com/file/aztl40d3azg47sv/Star%20Spangled%20Sundae.mp3
All three of these are MEGA-RARE and next to impossible to find (which stokes me, cuz I have all 3) If anyone is aware of any others like these, please let me know.

| I don't know what I did with the tape, but a local radio station in Nashville did a mock interview with Michael Jackson and pieced together their own answers from his music. I thought it was so funny that I did it with Weird Al Yankokic. I wish I new where that tape was so I could share it. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Added an mp3 of the 1958 "The Trial" (see first post above). Most of it's funny, some of it's hard to understand (prolly made more sense to people living in the 50s) | |
