| I bought this yesterday. I had to drive to Nashville to get this as it is a Family Christian store exclusive. Although I really enjoy MercyMe, I must say that this is the most dry, unimaginative thing they have ever done. Tired worship songs, cliched arrangements, and even the vocal performance of Bart Millard make for one snoozer of a disc. I will give it another spin today, but I don't think this is going to be a keeper.
I had hoped this would be a bit more like Millard's "Hymned" projects where there was some really fun experimentation with the style of those songs. This worship disc could and should have been the same way. You could breathe some new life into worship songs that are so overdone by nearly every artist that feels they just have to do a worship recording. As it is, the songs are lifeless. _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| That's a real bummer. My wife and I like MM and have seen them in concert. We really were into their first 3 albums, but kinda lost touch with them after that.
They sure put on a nice concert though. (seen them with 3rd day years ago) |

| Not a big fan of worship albums, and given the lack-luster review...I will certainly pass on this one. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
