We all make our own compilation CDs, or favorite songs "Playlists".

Back in the day I used to trade CD-Rs of compilations with buddies and it was nice to listen to someone elses personal "best of" mix.

I'd like to hear from you. Do you have your own cd mix albums ? What's on them ? I want to make some new comps, but don't want to put my own together - I want your compilations. (No, I don't want you to record them for me, just list the songs for me - I prolly already have the album, and if not, I can get the song one way or another)

PS - don't wanna sit there and type all the songs ? Don't have a file-to-text program to do it for you ? You can always "Print Screen", paste in "Paint", save and post the jpeg here. Just a thought.

Compilation? Isn't that what the shuffle feature is for on my MP3 player? I haven't made a mix tape or CD for myself since I was probably 20.

Surely you have playlists though ?

I've tried shuffling a bunch of complete albums, but you always get some dud songs that are unbearable- thus the need for custom playlists, or the 20 year old concept of a compilation

I have a playlist of songs for my youth group, but I am usually more album oriented. If I am listening to music, I prefer to hear a single album by a particular artist.

When I started to listen to Christian music I have made a few compilation CD from the stuff I had.
Now I'm more album oriented.

I have like 30 mixes I made years ago, I called them Ahlitah's Bucket Mixes.

I think I still have them somewhere.

Choice ! I've made dozens for my wifey too (you and I are such the romantics, eh?). For the 1st 10 years, I made her a special anniversary compilation of romantic love songs. If you have any of those around, I'd love to see a song list !
